Field of snow - Chester Lake and Chester Mountain_
The creek is from Chester Lake that is currently frozen. The hiking trail is popular by hikers in the summer and falls - this area can be closed due to grizzlies roaming around in this part of Kananaskis. In the winter, you can find two trails, one for snowshoeing and another for cross-country skies. Get there early during the weekend because the parking lot fills up quickly. Enjoy the outdoors because it is beautiful. The Canadian Rockies are majestic and fragile. In the wintertime, amazing views, lots of snow, and it is usually snowing. The image was captured in November 2021, and there is already an abundance of snow going up to the lake.
